The City of Kiel is thrilled to announce that it has been awarded $60,000 through the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation’s (WEDC) Small Business Development Grant (SBDG) program, part of an initiative led by Gov. Tony Evers and WEDC to uplift small business development across the state.
The City will use the grant to capitalize the Kiel Downtown Economic Revitalization Loan Program. The funding is available in this program to help small businesses in the Kiel Riverwalk District grow and expand by providing low-interest loans for building improvements, technology, financial support and more to enhance their success.
Additional funding from the City of Kiel will also be made available for businesses outside of the Riverwalk District.
